What's the role :
The Manager, Reporting will oversee the accounting and reporting of the Cable and Wireless Communications Holding & Finance entities, including interaction with the supporting Financial Shared Service Centre team, and supports the accounting and reporting of the Group as a whole.
The role will involve interaction with the Central Finance teams, Tax and Treasury teams, the FSSC and the Market finance teams as well as the Liberty Latin America technical accounting, consolidation and reporting teams based in Denver.
Knowledge and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in accounting, preferable CPA (Accounting qualification is a prerequisite)
5 years post qualification experience gained with a Big Four or National accounting firm exposed to US GAAP, SEC Reporting, IFRS and SOX / ICOFR
Experience in a dynamic, multinational finance environment with proven ability to work with professionals of different cultural background, professions and levels
Relevant industry and / or functional experience
Experience with and knowledge of Financial systems an advantage (HFM, SAP)
Excellent knowledge of MS Office Excel, Powerpoint
Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing;
Analytically strong and pragmatic with a long term vision
Strong technical accounting skills
Ability to articulate complex concepts in a straightforward manner
Being able to build bridges, work across functions (tax, legal, treasury) and create support for improvements
Ability to cope with high pressure assignments and used to meeting strict deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy. Maintaining poise under pressure.
Strong organizational and operational skills, able to plan effectively, anticipate on issues and solving problems
Knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, Accounting Principles, IFRS and SOX guidelines

What you'll do :
Delivery of reporting to Opco Central Operations for the Holding & Finance entities, including corporate debt, pension, stock compensation and derivative accounting, across all reporting deliverables, partnering with the FSSC.
Support delivery of on time and to quality reporting by the Group aligned with requirements and timelines set for the OpCo
Support Senior Manager A&ER on the accounting and reporting for specific topics as required e.g. restructuring
Review of disclosure tie out / support of external reporting at the LLA and Cable and Wireless Communications level; review of subsidiary statutory accounts for all Cable and Wireless Communications entities
Support the design, maintenance and assessment of a robust internal control environment at Cable and Wireless Communications Central to support Internal Control over Financial Reporting
Participate in periodic cyclical reviews of specific reporting and / or accounting areas across CWC Markets to drive compliance with group accounting policies on a consistent basis
Drive accounting control and governance best practices across the Cable and Wireless Communications Group
Statutory compliance for Cable and Wireless Communications Holding and Finance entities
Provide ad hoc support to the Senior Manager A&ER and Head of Finance
Create and foster a proactive approach to smarter, cost effective support and practical implementation models that challenge status quo
Continuously seek improvements and ways to strengthen the Cable and Wireless Communications Central Finance team
Build high levels of trust to increase team performance
