Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Provides General management of IT & Operations of LATAM Market. Performs stakeholder engagement including representing all of Philips IT, supplier management & budget management.

You are responsible for

  • Contribute to and deploy the Technology strategy, portfolio, and programs of IT.
  • Stakeholder engagement :

  • Represents Philips IT in all contacts with the businesses and management with regard to operating the global and local IT services.
  • Act as IT Business Partner of Markets taking end to end accountability for operations
  • Escalation level for Site IT Managers, who act as Business Partner for local SiteManagement.
  • Conclude service agreements for local IT services Infra and Apps to be defined and agreed with the IT BP for the Market
  • Applications Operations management :

  • Delivers of first line support for global services against agreed service levels & costs.
  • Participates in global IT programs and services.
  • Manage contracts with external partners regarding local IT services.
  • Delivers local projects & global project roll outs on local sites.
  • Deploys global processes whenever possible and enforce the use of them.
  • Infrastructure Operations management

  • Regional field operations for networks, telecom, end-user devices, security
  • Manages of Regional Operations in Data Centers both Philips owned and outsourced Data Centers to partner
  • Supplier Management : Day to day management towards 3rd party suppliers for Infra services such as DC, Network, Telecom services
  • Financial management

  • Creation of annual operation plan including quarterly update via Rolling Forecast process.
  • Operates local IT services (both Application and Infra) against competitive costs, agreed in SLA. Profit / Loss accountable for Cluster results.
  • To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in a related field (Business, IT, Engineering)
  • 10+ years of relevant working experience in dealing with operational and strategic IT matters
  • Complete knowledge of technologies, ERP projects and technical knowledge in software and hardware
  • Practice in making business decisions that align with organizational goals
  • Experience in planning, coordinating, executing, and evaluating projects / programs in applications and infrastructure.
  • Experience in partnering, consulting and influencing the business IT needs.
  • Experience of business transformation processes in fast-changing global and complex organizations
  • Customer Focus, People management experience, Financial acumen and project management.
  • Fully Bilingual (English / Spanish) Portuguese highly desirable
