Responsibilities Responsible for leading, managing, and mentoring an Internal Design Team. (GIS, Preliminary Engineering CAD Manager, CAD Tech, PTS, AIM)Key point of contact between all D&B Contractors, Client, and Internal Design Teams for Digital Delivery requirements.

Working with the Task Team Managers to ensure adherence to the Employer’s requirements.Periodic review of D&B progress reports and issue logs.

Qualifications Relevant diploma in engineering or Building Information ModelingPractical Work Experience for a minimum of 8 years Experience Essential Minimum 8 years’ relevant industry experienceA proactive approach to health and safety and wellbeing.

Ability to work in a fast tract environment with strict deadlines.Excellent communication and personal skills and capable of managing a challenging workload.

Project production / delivery experience.Good understanding of local and international and BIM standards / requirements.Sound knowledge of civil engineering process’ and construction methods.

Knowledge of software such as ProjectWise, OpenRail, Microstation, Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks Desirable Rail experience preferred but not essential.

Experience with data / asset lifecycle management.Able to produce easily understandable documentation of processes and workflows.

Experience in virtual design reviews on D&B projects. Key Expectations Hands-on day to day management of the Internal Design Teams, to achieve the Employers Requirements.

Reviewing, commenting and approval of all AIEP’s (Asset Information Execution Plan) submissions from contractors. Ensuring the AIEP covers all the content and expectations outlined in the Employers Requirements.

Ensuring all contractors are adhering to AIEP by conducting audits and reporting findings for action / ratification.Periodic review of D&B contractors coordination meeting minutes and clash reports.

Provide oversight to contractors with regards to Digital Delivery process’ and procedures.Periodic reviews / audits of contractors federated models, proving feedback and possible concerns with models.

Ensure training is in place and up to date for Internal Design Team.Ensure review of documentation in a timely manner to the required standard.

Ensure all CAD Reviewers have a clear understanding of CAD QA / QC procedures and process’ when reviewing design submittals.

Identify opportunities and recommendations for increasing workflow efficiencies.Sound understanding of the Clients Asset Breakdown structure and tagging requirements.

Sound knowledge of Uniclass classification system and it’s implementation on the project.Liaising with systems contractor to ensure the integrity of the asset information model at handover.
