What’s The Role

The Senior Accountant role will be focused on the day to day accounting and financial functions for a number of head office entities.

Works closely and will partner with various levels of the business to deliver high-quality accounting and reporting service and analysis.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
  • 4 years + Accounting Experience (experience in Public Accounting preferred) Shared Service or related field.
  • Experience in a dynamic, multinational finance environment with proven ability to work with professionals of different cultural background, professions and levels.
  • Advanced English level / Spanish is a plus
  • Relevant industry and / or functional experience.
  • Experience with and knowledge of Financial systems an advantage (HFM, SAP).

    What You ll Do

  • Prepare departmental accrual for multiple legal entities and ledgers.
  • Prepare manual journal entries for staff cost.
  • Assist Accounting Team with all closing activities areas.
  • Prepare BS Account Reconciliations.
  • Coordinate and assist in the preparation and detailed review of internal reports such as rolling trial balance.
  • Analyze and summarize intercompany transactions and balances.
  • Participate in monthly accounting reviews and facilitate adjustments in a timely manner.
  • Support External and Internal Audit requests by providing information and preparing supporting documentation and schedules
  • Cash position reporting, monthly bank recons, and recording of manual cash transactions
  • Provide ad-hoc support when required.
  • Participate in special projects with the team as required and assist with any escalation points.
  • Work closely with the Business Control Team and the Intercompany Team.
  • Support internal, external and SOX audits.
  • Identify process gaps, design and propose process improvements.
