RESPONSIBILITY
Oversee all aspects of the upper school
Exercise primary responsibility for setting and administrating the division budget
Play an active leadership role in :
Communication with parents
Teacher assignments
Teacher supervision and evaluation
Academic and non-academic program development
Collaborate with the discipline department on all student discipline matters
Partner with the discipline and psychology departments on evaluating curriculum, developing new courses, and hiring and retaining faculty and staff
Collaborate with the head of school, lower school and division heads
Coordinate, oversee, and lead the grade chair structure in the upper school
Lead weekly upper school leadership team meetings
Plan division meetings
Attend co-curricular events
REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree or higher in educational leadership
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Minimum of five years professional experience as a lead / independent classroom teacher or other equivalent experience.
Independent secondary school teaching and leadership experience
Humble spirit with a collaborative decision-making mindset
Strong desire to work in a faith-based community
Desire and joy in working with adolescents
