Reports to

Administrative reporting line : Marketing & Business Development Director

Functional reporting line : Head of Integrated Solutions

Collaborates with (departments, areas, regions)

Product Managers, Sales Managers, Customer Support Managers, Logistics, Controlling, Technical Service and Field Force for Sales & Applications areas, Market Access and Business Developer.

Collaborates with peers from Latin America and Global Business Area.

Function objective

Translates digital and IT solutions strategy into action. Is responsible for planning, implementing, creating, organizing and monitoring the marketing activities of IT Portfolio .

  • Bring the support to Roche Healthcare Consulting, regarding IT solutions, in different types of projects. Identify & develop the new skills and capabilities required to respond to new market trends & customer requirements;
  • Responsibilities

  • Manage product portfolio of IT Solutions. Lab IT solutions as a priority
  • Develop strategies, create marketing concepts and design programs in cooperation with the commercial and marketing team.
  • Implement actions that ensure that sales personnel have the adequate understanding of the product concept & strategy.
  • Training at the sales force about the IT strategies and methodology.
  • Develop product training and marketing tools to support its daily work.
  • Monitoring of market trends, customer needs and developments in the medical / diagnostic area, related to IT Solutions.
  • Transfer of the findings into proposals for strategies to further develop the local / regional market

  • Understand and translate the features of the IT Solutions products into customer oriented benefits communication
  • Monitoring of the competitive situation in the market.
  • Two ways communication with commercial and marketing team to exchange market information and customer’s needs
  • Plan and coordinate new product launches on a regional perspective for IT solutions.
  • Maintain contact with a specific key accounts and make presentations at customers about IT solutions, in case is required.
  • Provide monitor support in the IT Solutions projects.
  • Identify the IT portfolio gaps and seek ways of closing those gaps either trough local developments or partnerships
  • Coordinate any local partnerships and local developments with direct accountability in managing customer, market and product requirements troughout the development process
  • Provide the market and customer requirements to the Business Area in order to have the regional representation in global developments
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree computer science, informatic engineering, any related engineering degree or marketing management
  • MBA or other relevant graduate or post-graduate degree is preferred
  • Life sciences discipline is a plus
  • Experience

  • Experienced contributor with confirmed results in a multicultural environment
  • Mininun 3 years of experience in pharmaceuticals and diagnostics is preferred
  • Experience in project management
  • Negotiation skills
  • Knowledge

  • Solid IT skills as end user
  • Basic networks knowledge
  • Hands on experience in information technologies
  • Knowledge in virtualization management software is considered valuable
  • Knowledge of informatics technical development
  • Deep expertise interpreting complex data sets (scientific, business, financial).
  • Skills

  • Fluent written and verbal English and Spanish
  • Proven record for meeting or exceeding goals and timelines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with aptitude in building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze all aspects of the business in order to make informed business decisions and involve related stakeholders;
  • Proven ability to work in an ever changing environment in an agile manner;
  • Good convincing skills with ability to clearly present;
  • Dynamic, with personal initiative and business drive;
  • Proven accountability on moving forward the execution, even when there’s uncertainty.
  • Strong customer orientation / focus
  • Availability to travel 50% of the time
