The job offers a complete end to end view of Maersk Line container business and involves high exposure to both internal and external stakeholders.

You will act as a spider in the web to organize, optimize and monitor the transport of the Maersk Line business to and from the ports.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitors bookings and optimizes space by adjusting allocation between load ports, regions as well as ad hoc route adjustments
  • Adjusts cargo loading (rolling, re-routing) in conjunction with Cluster TNM / UTM
  • Manages local allocations in coordination with the region
  • Optimizes usage of space on all mother vessels and strings
  • Participates in and coordinates new deployments with Trade and Marketing leads and works on capacity for long-term or short-term deployment
  • Supports execution of empty flow plan within MVS by coordinating intensely with equipment manager
  • Liaises with the capacity team as and when third party space is required
  • Seeks to optimize the overall utilization of all services within MVS
  • Seeks to optimize bookings and create optimal allocation adjustments between load ports and services as well as ad hoc route adjustments within MVS
  • Executes all cargo loadings (rolling, re-routing) in conjunction with UTM within MVS
  • Within MVS : Supports execution of empty flow plan by coordinating intensely with equipment manager
  • Within MVS : Delivers input for coordination of new deployments with TnM as well as long term deployment of capacity
  • Identifies and suggest continuous improvement possibilities in the ways of working
  • Identifies and executes cost reductions through the SmartOPS process within the team
  • We are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Customer Service, Operations teams
  • 2+ of experience in the Shipping and Logistics Industry
  • Office intermediate proficiency
  • English advanced at professional proficiency
  • Team-worker person with the ability to work in multicultural teams across the organization
  • Ability for decision making in different scenarios
  • Excellent analytical skills
