You will build deep partnership at a global and local level, across Bacardi. You will play a major role in providing key value insight to the supply and demand planning process for the Centro America and Caribbean region, ultimately helping Bacardi to deliver against our BEST10 growth aspirations to support sales.

  • Responsibilities

    With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to :

    Supply Planning

  • Responsible for the supply Planning process for the consolidation centre for Caribbean Markets.
  • Ensure right inventory levels are define and ensure proper execution of the replenishment plants
  • Ensure proper communication channels and process with the production plants stakeholders to ensure supply execution.
  • Develop the supply chain process that provides a clear view of the inventory and purchase order status that provide timely and accurate information for decision making.
  • Build visibility to all stakeholders between volume sales plan and stock availability to the markets, also bring opportunities to the business by anticipating supply issues in the process
  • Ensure correct actions plan to mitigate inventory risks and correct communication process to report risk and opportunities to the region.,
  • Define process to provide 3rd party markets order status from the plant to the distributor to ensure service and optimum inventory levels
  • Plan finished good stock inbound from plants to market warehouses based on forecasts and stock at market policies
  • Understand route to markets, MOQs and Leadtime’s with plants and customers. Propose, set up and document rules when not established with SC Manager
  • Ensure SAP FTS parameters are maintained, reviewed, correspond to reality for the region

  • Collaborate with Sales and S&OP Manager to manage the Portfolio for best optimization

  • Develop the consolidation centre strategy for the Centro America & Caribbean market along with the Supply Chain & S&OP manager to have an optimize footprint for service and cost.
  • Collaborate with sales to understand customers’ data to plan and implement supply chain optimization projects to increase delivery efficiency
  • Analyse current market’s needs, demand trends, opportunities of supply, and predict future trends for middle and longer-term horizon overview (24 months)
  • People

  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team and the Panama team to drive Bacardi culture and values to create a great place to work.
  • New Products Introduction

  • Cooperate with the Innovation Team / SCS Manager / SOP Manager to ensure effective Innovation process with the aim of reducing supply chain complexity, optimizing route to markets, increasing supply reliability / flexibility and harmonizing the IPC portfolio.
  • Support of new products launch / limited editions / replacement activities projects with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, SCS Manager to ensure on time in full delivery of projects, and smooth switch if replacement with least write-off
  • Maintain the products portfolio list, including dimensions, special specifications, lifecycle information and communicate regularly with stakeholders
  • Align with plant supply planning on the right level of replenishment and ensure sufficient inventory for launch
  • Skills and Experience

    The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy

  • You will have 4+ years’ experience in supply planning preferable in Caribbean & Central America region.
  • Preferable global volume consumer goods but you may well have experience in other industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, Business, Logistics or equivalent
  • Language skills : Fluent English & Spanish
  • Good knowledge SAP and of MS Office and. (Excel advance is required)
  • Power BI or similar knowledge is desired
  • Experience in international logistics and knowledge on international trading practices for Central America and Caribbean markets
  • You have managed third parties’ logistics and warehouse driving continuous improvement in their performance service, quality, and cost.
  • Ability to find effective ways of working within a matrix organization, and within a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, and close attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and influence skills
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with teams across different geographies and cultures.
