Internship Overview

Global Brands Intern will support our team in mapping and optimizing the close process. An Intern will play an integral part in optimizing and standardizing business processes within a specific brand and across cluster.



  • Align and standardize the close processes across the brands so they can cascade to the other two clusters. The purpose of it is to map the pre-close, close and post-close. Here the intern will be reviewing activities such as Open PO (Improvement of the file, playbook on how to use it for the finance team and business),

  • Define communications to the business before closing to ensure the reduction of the manual entries (which will help with Genpact calling out the increasing number of manual postings), define calendarization of when to have meetings and what to review), define post close process.

  • Develop a master close file, mapped by account and cost center that goes daily to all finance analysts; this will help reduce the team pulling OS and SAP data and will provide visibility to the leadership team of the numbers by department/ account.

  • Assist with close reporting of operational performance to the business partners.



  • Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish

  • Finance knowledge

  • Proficiency in Excel 

  • Self-aware of their work and is open to receiving feedback. Ability to work in teams and independently if required

  • High-touch service: Manages to create a trust-based relationship with their peers, managers and clients through active listening, customer service, proactivity, and many others

  • Drives creativity and Innovation

  • Team Work

  • Desired: SAP, Hyperion or Oracle
