Purpose of the Assignment

Under the overall guidance of the Individual Giving Manager in LACRO and in coordination with the Global SES Team, the contractor will be asked to :

Provide requirements gathering, business process guidance and Salesforce support on testing, training, report writing, analysis and implementation of Salesforce and SES in the LACRO Region.

Specific Tasks

  • Act as product manager for LACRO based Salesforce implementations, managing requirements from local market level for specific implementations and proposing to add to (global) functionality.
  • Ensure regional needs are mapped and included in all global solution updates and versions.
  • Provide feedback on system design and suitability of the solution updates for the LAC markets, conducting research into certain areas of functionality where needed.
  • Work with local market team, HQ and vendor / s to ensure successful delivery of Salesforce based solutions in markets.
  • Continuously communicate with all stakeholders including end users, Management, HQ and vendors during the project life cycle.
  • Act as a bridge between global product and localization requirements.
  • Ensure integrity of back office processes and identify opportunities to streamline.
  • Work with the Individual Giving global team to follow up on local implementations and market’s needs.
  • Keep record of best practices and opportunities for local implementations. o Support knowledge management activities by capturing and sharing key insights as required for the Knowledge Management process.
  • Keep the LACRO Digital Space updated with SES relevant information for LAC markets.
  • Support in the development of the implementation plan of Salesforce for the Colombian market. In addition to any other markets during the contracting period.
  • Plan implementation in the LAC region.

  • Ensure implementation plan in the Region is follow up on, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions.
  • Work with local country 3rd party service provider on creating handbook and training guides to communicate best practices, risks and interventions, customization, enhancement, and integration features
  • Provide advice on LACRO / Country Office project governance, identifying next steps to resolve issues and advice on scoping.
  • Support markets in the development of their Supporter Engagement Strategy.
  • Expected Results measurable

  • Keep an updated road map and project plan for Salesforce implementation in LAC markets.
  • Ensure successful delivery of local market fundraising CRM & marketing solutions in LACRO country offices.
  • Support the global product manager in updating the core global solution, that is applicable to most UNICEF LAC markets.
  • Build and promote a regional LACRO Salesforce community.
  • Support with requirements, design, build, test, train and go live activities within a local market implementation.
  • Implementation plan for Colombia and new markets is follow up on.
  • Ensure integrations with payment providers, agencies, banks, and web sites work correctly and are fully optimized.
  • Document the systematization of the localization experience in the pilot country and gather learnings from other countries as they implement Salesforce.
  • Develop a guidance about how to work with a third-party agency for the localization.

  • Implement the Knowledge Management Strategy.
  • Deliver webinars and training sessions to markets considering all the phases of implementation to ensure market readiness and awareness of level of commitment and work.
  • Successfully follow a procurement process to obtain regional vendors for localization of Salesforce.
  • Identify and map SES support plan for markets in the Region for 2021-2025 (not limited to HR, budget, capacity building).
  • To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have

  • Bacherlor’s degree in Non-profit Management, Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, Engineering or another relevant field.
  • Proven experience of a minimum of five years as Project Management or Marketing Manager.
  • Proven knowledge of Fundraising business processes, both in a local market and best practice in a global organization is a benefit.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required. Knowledge of French or Portuguese will be considered an asset.
  • Professional technical knowledge and expertise in use DevOPs
  • Extensive experience using various testing methodologies to improve performance and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Experience developing business requirements documents.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mind oriented.
  • Experience training and upskilling teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, (both written and oral) to translate complicated business requirements into technical based language, and vice versa.
  • Supervision

    The individual contractor will work under the direct supervision of the Individual Giving Manager LACRO.

    Duration

    This individual contract will have a duration 11.5 months.

    Travel :

    Contractor may be requested to travel on missions to country offices.
