OCONUS - Kuwait Must be a U.S. Citizen
The Master Electrician will be responsible for the overall on time completion of assigned projects. Read blueprints, order materials, communicate with management personnel requirements and schedule issues and the demolition, installation and troubleshooting of electrical items not limited to : bending pipe and conduit, running wire, installing devices and lighting.
RMS will be performing Base Operation Support (BOS-1) to the United States Armed Forces in Kuwait, as part of the AFCAP V Contract
Essential Job Functions :
Perform work required for the construction and installation of electrical systems for commercial and industrial work projects
Perform work of a skilled variety demanding a high degree of manual and technical competency
Repair malfunctions by such methods as replacing burned out elements, fuses and replacing defective wiring
Test electrical equipment, such as, motors, heaters and controls for safety and efficiency using standard test equipment and by observing functions
Install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors and other electrical equipment
Inspect circuits for specified shielding and grounding
Wire and conduit sizing
Switchgear and device installation and termination
Underground layout and rough-in
Motors and controls troubleshooting
Work responsibly using personal and company supplied tools and equipment
Perform all job duties following all established safety standards
Locate and determine electrical malfunctions using test equipment
Maintain a can do attitude that is broadcast to those they influence
Education and Experience : (or equivalent)
High School Diploma or equivalent.
5+ to 7 years’ experience
Ability to sustain considerable physical effort at frequent intervals
Stand, stoop, kneel, bend, and lift / carry up to 50lbs 100 feet
Ability to climb ladders
Use basic hand and power tools as required
License & Certifications :
Must be a Master Electrician
OSHA 30 Safety Certification.
Must have a Valid U.S. Driver’s License and be able to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission.
Possess a Valid US Passport preferred.
Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, including vaccination for COVID-19 as outlined in Paragraph 1.

Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Kuwait
Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
TRAVEL : 100%, in deployed location.
SECURITY CLEARANCE : Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
