In this role, you have the opportunity to

Use your skills and experience in a high paced, dynamic Global Operational Material Management Organization that is responsible for getting the right parts to the right place at the right time.

You will manage the availability of material through the proper material Master Data setup, capacity planning, and purchase order management with internal and external suppliers.

You are responsible for

  • Resolves Purchase Order issues, including e.g. GR-IR mismatches, missing Invoices, Under Delivery, Over Delivery, etc.
  • Places orders with suppliers and monitors the outstanding order package in terms of delivery time, quality, and price
  • Performs inventory analysis
  • Executes Supply Chain Management master data set-up and maintenance
  • Executes Product Life Cycle management
  • Forecast communication with suppliers, including validation
  • Tracks order confirmation, monitors open order position, expedites if needed, and keeps SAP updated
  • Identifies material shortage risks and takes action to mitigate
  • Manage return orders to suppliers
  • Eliminate root causes of availability issues
  • You are a part of

    Operational Material Management (OMM) team based in our Global Business Support (GBS) office in Panama City. This is a very exciting time to be joining Philips, as this site is expanding.

    This role will work very closely with Commodity Management, Manufacturing Leadership, OMM leadership, and Supply Chain Engineering teams that support multiple product lines.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 3+ years of raw material, Equipment parts, or finished product buying experience is required, desirable in multinational companies.
  • SAP experience is required
  • Fluent English (Spoken and Written as a must)
  • Inventory analysis experience is desirable
  • MRP knowledge is required
  • Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment
  • Technical knowledge for maintenance parts purchases is a plus
  • This is not a remote role.
