What the role is
The individual who fills the IT PMO position will be part of a dynamic team and make sure all new openings are in line with Selina IT standards and work on other special projects with the team responsible for the IT infrastructure of our locations.
In this position you will coordinate internal and external resources, manage vendors and liaise with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver great IT products to our guests, visitors, Colivers and Connectors.
What you will be doing
Support the definition of new Selina IT projects, in particular its timeline, scope and objectives.
Ensure that all IT projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget; report all milestones, risks and red flags.
Monitor and track project progress, budget and requirements.
Lead the IT go-to-market readiness check.
Source vendors and contractors.
Coordinate internal and external resources
Communicate project updates to all appropriate stakeholders.
Deliver project handover reports, lessons learned and other documents as required.
Help identify areas of opportunity in IT processes, procedures, systems and guidelines to improve them
Assist the IT Department in other tasks or requirements as needed.
What you need for the role
1 to +3 years of experience in Project Coordination or Project Management
Background in IT, Computer Science, Architecture, Engineering, Business or Hospitality preferred, but not required.
Experience in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools
Computer skills a must; drafting skills preferred
Familiarity with Autocad or Indesign is a plus!
The qualified candidate will have a high level of organization and self-motivation
Intuition to identify and evaluate potential risks
Attention to details
Fluent English and a second language; Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese prefered.
Great communication skills are a must
Occasionally traveling to sites might be required.
