Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Systems Evaluation - Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
Systems Analysis - Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
Flexibility of Closure - The ability to identify or detect a known pattern (a figure, object, word, or sound) that is hidden in other distracting material.
Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Core Specific Responsibilities & Expected Deliverables
Develop standard safe working procedures and actively participate in HSE initiatives.
Identify and manage asset reliability risk that could adversely affect equipment availability or mining operations.
Review and develop analysis and report on the operation of equipment, systems and fleets, faults, problems, and deviations.
Provide information on time for decision-making and optimize maintenance plans, to contribute to the levels of availability and operational reliability of the equipment.
Analyze and define critical failures of the fleet through statistical analysis of repetitive failures applying the methods of Pareto and Jack Knife graphs, to issue the corresponding recommendations for the generation of action plans that lead to corrective activities.
Investigate any critical failures of equipment with Root cause analysis (RCA) and root cause failure analysis (RCFA).
Lead the investigations on Chronic and acute failures where the severity dictates.
Monitoring and analysis of key indicators (KPIs) of maintenance and operation, to manage compliance with goals established in the maintenance plan.
Participation in coordination meetings for planning and reliability performance.
Study high impact failures through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using techniques such as the five why Ishikawa diagrams and fault tree to issue corresponding recommendations.
Propose action plans to eliminate or mitigate repetitive critical failures.
Improve and constantly update equipment maintenance strategies through RCM, FMEA, FMECA, etc.
Control and Monitoring of the KPIs Work management, KPIs of equipment performance (Availability, MTBF, MTTR.), and others associated with the planning and reliability processes, to meet the objectives of optimized resources, stabilized processes and reduced maintenance costs.
Follow up on each work order to audit its execution and carry out the balance of compliance with the predictive maintenance plan for each period
Actively participate in the daily and weekly Pre-Programming and Programming meetings.
Perform weekly presentations of the reliability and availability of the areas in charge, reporting events that have occurred and vulnerabilities that affect the proper functioning of the equipment in their charge.
Provision of technical support to maintenance personnel.
Use at least 20% of the time of work in the field to capture and lift the improvements of Matrix Plans and established procedures to design action plans that guarantee the operational reliability of the equipment.
Implement and control the guarantee process in coordination with the other maintenance areas.
Lead and participate in projects to improve the productivity, availability, and reliability of the fleet of equipment.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
