The Customer Solutions Manager works in a consultative role with the local Sales representatives, Key Account Managers and operations teams in the assigned territory to identify and implement Digital Supply Chain Solutions".
These include : Web based visibility and monitoring solutions on both the Shipment and Order level, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and Business Intelligence Reporting.
International Supply Chain Design as well as Implementation are key components to the role.
Partner in the sales cycle, responsible for value selling to prospective customers
Increase value proposition (Digital Solutions) to existing customers, including QBR and customer retention activities
Customer facing with detailed knowledge of all CST products and solutions,
Provide input for RFQ / RFP bids
May include target accounts
Define SOW (Scope of Work) document
Assesses customer supply chain visibility requirements and presents appropriate solutions to the customer during sales / conference calls.
Provide CST effort cost estimate to BU owners
Nationalization of sales and marketing material,
National counterpart to regional vertical owners / bu owners,
Communicator with Corporate and own regional manager of customer / industry specific solution requirements.
Communicate with Product Management, Support and Development to drive change based on customer requirements identified in face to face / RFQ / RFP meetings
Feed repository for case studies and best practices
Responsible to train customer facing functions on Digital Solutions and consultative selling

Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelors degree inBusiness Administration and / or Supply Chain Management or equivalentexperience
The ideal candidate will have experience in a consultative selling environment. While this is not an IT role, a working knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange / Order Management Solutions / Web based tracking, and Monitoring solutions is key.
Additionally, the candidate should have some experience in process assessment and mapping.
The candidate should have a working knowledge of the International Air and Ocean modes of transport and general supply chain processes.
The candidate must be a self-starter and a leader due to do the multi-countries accountability role.
The following software applications are mostcommonly used : Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Word and Visio.
