What's the role :
The Manager, B2B Connectivity and Securtiy Services will lead and define E2E architectures related to Networking & Security technologies in order to satisfy actual and future Business Requirements in terms of expected quality for the product, the most appropriate use of technology, cost-effective solutions that can be accommodated to the different markets where LILAC operates.
What you'll do :
Enforce an engineering process that ensures quality, standardization across the deliverables for the products, training plans, metrics and KPIs to control the process end to end.
Define and Maintain Networking & security core solutions roadmap and present on a regular basis strategic vision for proposed future security technologies and improvements aligned to corporate and Product Management / Product Development Go to Market strategy in a multi country environment.
Develop design principles, roadmaps, models, plans, standards, budgets, and processes based on industry best practices.
Work with technology partners, third parties, consultants and internal parties to architect networking & security elements that align with business needs Work with Product Development / Product Management teams to create and influence next generation services solutions to be incorporated in the product portfolio across the region.
Leads the definition, planning, preparation, install and handover to customer service teams, of the new solutions being developed or the enhancements on current portfolio.
Work with internal teams on decision making for new vendors, technology, and roadmap of new products with at a global scale.
Proactively advise management on ongoing needs and issues related to the Networking & Security solutions; communicate industry trends, standard methodologies and opportunities for technology and process optimization.
Review the state of the art in Networking and Security technologies, support peer areas in vendor negotiation and selection.
Timely delivery of Lab Test / product engineering.
Support definition and documentation for RFP / RFI and Proof of concept.
Providing information to the other roles in the process about the solution and its technical details.
Develop team professional growth, act on performance improvement, training, tools, and standards, steering the development process, reviews, and knowledge sharing, managing progress on tasks, and auditing results and outcomes.
Acts a technical consultant, engaging in high profile incidents and problems to ensure alternative solutions to operational problems are considered that minimise risk and reduce customer impact.
Develops effective and productive working relationships with key stakeholders, to ensure delivery of excellent customer service across all functions.
Knowledge and Experience :
Bachelor level, Information Technology and / or comparable technical engineering degree.
Master’s Degree in Engineering, information System, Computer Sciences, or related field preferable
10+ years of professional experience with strong technical background in Networking & Security Solutions.
Broad experience and understanding of the Info Security and Networking industry and some other industries (e.g., banking, retail, public sector), acquired in a consulting role and / or managing technology-enabled business change or related activities.
Experience working in the telecommunications industry in a regional / multi country scale.
Strong technical certifications such as Cisco CCIE, Fortinet NS8, Check Point Expert Administrator, CCNP Security / Enterprise or equivalent.
Strong verbal and written communications, English, Spanish.
