This role is responsible for managing a global Inter-Company Master Data (ICMD) function to enable product flow and transaction execution across the Pfizer supply and delivery chains.
This is a critical enterprise function that will directly influence the ability of Pfizer to meet customer delivery demands while achieving internal cost objectives.
The role will have a regional orientation, however will require close coordination with other regional, site and global teams to support global supply and delivery chains.
The scope of the role is end to end’ master data process management from plants through logistics centers to the commercial markets.
This includes accurate set up and data linkages for Materials, Customers, Vendors and Product Routings.
This role is responsible for delivering master data projects for defined Network Changes. The incumbent will be accountable for influencing and coordinating the setup of master data at Plants and Markets as well as managing a team responsible for direct data entry and control for the IC Logistics Centers.
Accurately translate business scenarios into SAP and legacy systems master data solutions utilizing process flows and standard operating procedures.
The ICMD Manager and Coordinators will communicate this translation to all impacted stakeholders to ensure that all data owners understand and manage their respective tasks.
Coordinate data collection and entry across the Pfizer network.Influence, lead or support data owners, logistic center users, plants, markets, and other stakeholders as required.
Responsible for continuous monitoring, measurement and improvement of data quality for assigned geographical and product scope.
This includes the end to end regional network, not only the logistics centers.
Develop process and technical documentation needed to support policies and procedures to efficiently and effectively coordinate master data management activities
Promote cross-organizational dialogue while preventing inconsistent data definitions and business rules.Acts as escalation point for local and network wide business partners on master data issues.
E.g., Issues with Materials, Locations, and Routings.
Contribute and influence global master data standards, policies and practices.This occurs through informal collaboration with the global master data team as well as participation in global / regional Communities of Practice.
BS / BA in Technical or Business field required
5-7 years of experience in Logistics / Operations, Supply Chain Materials Management or Commercial Operations.
Strong knowledge of Master Data concepts and excellent MS Office skills.
Broad understanding of the supply chain environment.
Must have demonstrated consultative, influencing, analytical, strategic thinking / planning, and problem solving skills.
Highly self-motivatedandability to work and be productive independently with minimal daily direction
Ability to work in a complex matrix organization with strong team work orientation required.Ability to work effectively in an environment of competing priorities and deadlines.
Strong oral and written communication, presentation, business analysis and project management skills are required.
Ability to interact, build effective relationships, and influence leaders at all levels of the organization is imperative.
Travel requirements (international / domestic) 5-15% / year
Experience with SAP / ERP and FLEX Solution
Previous supervisory and management experience
A solid overall understanding of the Logistic Centers’ business processes
