QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER
We are searching for an experienced KE - QA Engineer (KE) at our Panama facility.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities :
As a Quality Assurance Engineer , you will assist in the development and implementation of technology-based election solutions.
You will be testing embedded applications and assisting in the design of these applications to meet both functional and technical requirements.
You’ll also learn, teach, pair, explore new technologies, implement best practices and help continuously improve the team in a fast-paced environment.
Executing and contributing to test strategies and test plans.
To keep documentation of practices up to date.
To provide support to testers and field personnel, as needed to determine system problems.
Learn, understand and apply QA policies, practices, and methodologies defined and adopted in the team.
Provide the required support during deployment.
Learn, understand and apply knowledge generation guidelines defined.
Report promptly and professionally bugs.
Work with the Software teams on defect resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related scientific field.
Intermediate Experience in agile methodologies.
Intermediate Experience in Quality Assurance practices during software development life-cycle.
Intermediate Experience in setting up testing environments.
Intermediate Experience using test management tools like Zephyr and bug tracking tools like Jira.
Intermediate Experience identifying, isolating, reporting and tracking bugs.
Intermediate Knowledge in handling requirements and refining user stories to contribute to their completeness and testability.
Intermediate Knowledge in creating and executing comprehensive and effective test strategies and test plans.
Basic Knowledge of Continuous Integration concepts and tools.
Experience creating documentation in Spanish and English in tools like Confluence
3+ years working with Jira.
Certified ISTQB : Test Analyst, Advanced Level or equivalent.
