Position Summary

The Social Media Specialist is part of the team responsible of create, manage, and enforce content strategies that are created for assigned brands, which considers maintaining the proper functioning of communities.

Responsible and creative writing is required.

Main Responsibilities

Business and project needs will determine the exact nature of the tasks to be performed. Core responsibilities include :

  • Contributing to long-form and short-form creative content generation and copywriting for brands on Social Media and Web, according to brands’ regulations, guidelines and marketing plans in coordination with the Team Leader and address area, according to the characteristics of the client and the public to whom it is directed.
  • Execute approved strategies, manage, listen and engage the social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and potentially additional channels, provided timely report to immediate headquarters, using relevant networks.
  • Blog on an ongoing basis in support of the projects to attract site visitors through search and social. Optimizing this content for search engines and lead generation.

    Attend contingencies in the accounts as assigned.

    Actively participate in the project team to settle and respond to instructions from the Coordinator or Project Manager who is responsible for coordination.

    Conduct research trends in social media and digital marketing.

  • Trying new strategies, methodologies and technologies that are valuable to the business and report the results to his immediate supervisor.
  • Suggest ideas for new products and services according to their level of technical expertise and subject to review and approval of his superior.
  • Provide technical support in the preparation of project planning, according to their level of technical expertise.
  • KPI analysis, interpretation and qualitative insights to manage social media performance reports and optimize the strategy according to the results.
  • Track the efficiency of all content, and subsequently measure results to ensure consistency.

    Customer Care :

  • Improving customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth and reach.
  • Taking ownership of customer’s issues and following problems through to resolution.
  • Problem solving and crisis management.

    Keep accurate records and documents customer service action and discussions.

    Analyze statistics and compile accurate reports.

    Keep ahead of industry’s developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement.

    Required knowledge, skills and abilities :

  • Digital agencies knowledge.
  • Ability to lead and work with a team of different areas.
  • Ability to planning, creative copy writing, video scripts, content generation, investigation of technologies and digital trends.
  • Excellent writing skills, impeccable grammar and orthography.

  • Ability to receive a brief, planning it, organizing it and distribute related tasks with team members.
  • Must demonstrate initiative and follow through on projects and on development of team skills and client relationships.
  • High Soft skills level in order to effective negotiation with Stakeholders involved in a Project.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and / or employees.
  • Ability to solve practical problems.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality with proprietary information.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain group focus.
  • Perfect English Communication Skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, email and Internet communications.
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
  • Digital Native / Social Media heavy user.
  • Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience working in similar roles.
  • Education and / or experience

  • Bachelor courses related to Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field. May be considered equivalent specializations and expertise.
  • Additional knowledge : in digital advertising, copywriting, among others. Management tools like Socialbakers, Radian6, HootSuite. Excel and Database.
  • English proficiency.
  • Bonus experience and skills include inbound marketing, and blogging.
