In this role, you have the opportunity to
Drive logistic (transportation and warehousing) procurement projects with the aim to optimize total cost of ownership and create agile and scalable supply chains.
You are responsible for
Define strategic sourcing strategies aligned with business requirements, execute strategic tender processes, lead negotiations, facilitate the decision-making process, and ensure commercial gatekeeping during implementation.
Support development of business cases, realize and track cost savings
Optimize the supply base on the basis of the total cost of ownership and develop sustainable supplier relationships
Manage the business review process with suppliers to ensure that market trends, supplier performance and the future business needs of the sectors are aligned
Pro-actively support the logistics procurement commodity strategies.
Align with sector supply chain management to ensure successful definition and execution of commodity strategies
Ensure effective relationship / stakeholder management towards sectors / business / markets. Actively support with supply market & process knowledge and expertise in the area of logistics procurement.

You will be part of negotiation teams, implementation projects and manage commercial relationships with suppliers.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master or Bachelor degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration with at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience
Experience in Logistics or Supply Chain is required
Experience in Procurement or a Sales related position is required
Experience within or working with a large international company is required
Analytical, conceptual thinker, pragmatic, strong interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial spirit, with focus on getting things done
Leadership qualities to lead project teams
Strong English, Spanish, and Portuguese language skills
