What’s the role :
The Senior Manager, UX-UI Development is a key role in our growing B2B Digital Center of Excellence, responsible for ensuring our applications provide a seamless and delightful user journey by managing a full stack Web Development team as well as providing design guidance to the development teams of our Omni-Channel Sales and Care UIs.
The right candidate will be able to communicate their vision, build and deliver a roadmap that transforms the experience for our Customers and internal users alike.
What you’ll do :
Evolve and Lead the Full Stack Web Development Team, including the long-term plan to insource key resources to maintain critical knowledge.
Provide deep understanding of modern Web Development , Content frameworks and technologies.
Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and CX, UX and UI Design partners to propose implementable solutions based on system, process, technology, time and other constraints.
Articulates and Communicates Web technologies and Content Solutions Designs and Architecture to teams and the wider audience.
Represents Web Frontend and Web Technologies in a wider audience.
Supports team members in decomposing stories into appropriate tasks and work items.
Designs for successful delivery and pragmatic outcomes Hands on and visible to teams and stakeholders driving their desired outcomes.
Sources and Engages subject matter experts and stakeholders to unblock tasks and stories as needed.
Coaches and Mentors team members and the wider audience on Agile Methodologies and principles.
Define and maintain documentation of architecture and technology standards, processes, and policies related.
Develop long-term technology roadmap, prioritization, resourcing and budgets.
Define and Assist in creation of governance practices, standards, and strategies, including Security Audits, SOX Compliance, Mobile Strategies, Vendor Assessments, Technology Readiness, Roadmaps, and Solution Architectural Diagrams.
Protect employees, and brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and daily job responsibilities;
follows security policies and procedures; continuously identify and recommend opportunities for improving security.
Manage vendor relationships for commercial tooling and services partners.
Contribute and support annual budget submission for Web and UX / UI initiatives.
Knowledge & Experience
Graduate level (Bachelors or higher) degree in an Information Technology or related field. Significant technical centric job experience (5-10 yrs plus) can count in place of technical degree. MBA is a plus.
5-10 years prior experience in Web, UX / UI Development and / or Design.
5 years prior experience leading a full stack Web Development team.
Passionate about everything web’ - HTML, CSS, JS, SPA, PWA Node.JS, Angular.
Deep knowledge of popular CMS platforms Drupal, Joomla, Directus, Wordpress, Kentico, etc.
Experience with full-stack web development, including backend technologies PHP, ASP, Python, Node.js, etc.
Experience with Salesforce UI design / development a strong plus.
Deep and Demonstrated knowledge and experience in building customer facing Digital Experiences and Online Presence.
Deep experience of Web technology design in a multi-tenant, multi-market, multi-line of business organization.
Experience of Headless Experience Design and the API driven content experiences.
Strong Grasp of content architecture and content infrastructure and content management systems (Drupal, Directus and others).
Familiar with Service oriented and Micro Service Oriented Design Patterns and Architectures.
Familiar with Quality by Design’ and Test Driven Development’ approaches and engineering designs and approaches that ensure quality is inherent in what is delivered.
Experience and ability to work in a matrixed environment, and ability to drive change through influence.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to form strong relationships across all functions.
DevOps and Agile Advocate and Coach in the organization.
Comfortable in a Digital First Environment Passionate about building out Digital Solutions for customers.
Timeliness in all actions with quality consciousness towards services received and provided.
Effectively gathers information, structures clear reasons for decisions and leads debate where required.
Works collaboratively with stakeholders and team members to deliver the best results for the customer and to remove barriers to execution.
Demonstrates strong ability to work under pressure with multiple competing priorities.
