General Summary :
The Content Supervisor position is responsible for managing process, supervising the content library and traffic across the different areas to meet Network’s linear and digital goals.
The Content Supervisor will directly report to the Sr. Content Manager.
Supervise the different stages of the content’s traffic by closely monitoring the content team and the interaction with the content prep, compliance, dub / sub, programming, and traffic teams to make sure that timelines are met.
Work with regional office teams (programming, on-air, marketing, ad sales, etc.) to evaluate requirements and provide feedback.
Manage content library in MC to ensure that the required content is always available, and the unneeded content is purged with previous approval from acquisition and programming.
Supervision of staff and review of performance for efficiencies.
Ad hoc / special projects.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Fluent English and Spanish is required. Portuguese (Portugal and or Brazil) and German is a plus.
Knowledge regarding content traffic and Linear / non-linear workflows.
Strong problem solving skills and detail oriented.
Strong communication skills verbal and written.
Strong ability to organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously and to prioritize.
People managing abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Fluent Spanish and English are a must.Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, and German are preferable.
Ability to work effectively under changing environments.
High degree of computer literacy, with an aptitude for learning new technology and software.
5-7 years of experience in direct coordination of teams.
