Desired professional experience :
5+ years' experience as a Cloud Architect supporting a large development / technology organization.
Strong understanding of IT disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operations
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
Experience as a team lead preferred
Relevant cloud Architect certification is Mandatory (Google, AWS or Azure)
Desired Educational Profile (Not must critical angle)
Master Degree in Computer Science or Engineer.
Main Responsabilities :
Create a well-informed cloud agnostic strategy and manage the adaption process.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the organization for cloud end-to-end architecture, including AWS and future providers, networking, provisioning, and management
Develop a library of deployable and documented cloud design patterns, based on the HUIT application portfolio, as a basis for deploying services to the cloud
Demonstrate leadership ability to back decisions with research and the why, and articulate several options, the pros and cons for each, and a recommendation
Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud privacy.
Provide guidance and expertise on optimized and cost-effective use of cloud infrastructure.
Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.
Understand industry trends and anticipate future needs for Agile development.
