General Role Purpose (brief description of this job)

The Administrator Data will have the responsibility of entering accurate employee information into the clinic management system and other databases.

Accurate entry of patient information allows for thorough data reporting and analysis, resulting in the ability to monitor and track quality measures to provide better patient care.

The Administrator Data will report directly to the Data Management Specialist.

Qualifications (required for job) & Knowledge & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to type 20-30 wpm.
  • Previous data entry experience and competence with a range of computer application programs.
  • Previous experience with or a sound knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Medical practice / reception experience will be considered a distinct advantage.
  • Committed to service excellence.
  • A keen eye for detail and exceptional accuracy in data transfer operations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment as well as autonomously without direct supervision.
  • An understanding of quality control techniques and a commitment to service excellence.
  • Well-developed general administrative skills.
  • Core Specific Responsibilities & Expected Deliverables

  • Supports the transition from paper health records to electronic health records through data entry.
  • Ensures accurate electronic health records by accurately entering health information into the computer system.
  • Maintains record availability by quickly processing charts and modifying information in an accurate, timely fashion.
  • Maintains quality results by following MPSA standards
  • Maintains continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Other duties as assigned by Data Specialist or Clinic Superintendent

  • Operational Requirements

    Cobre Panama is a remote site. This exciting position is site-based will be focusing on driving and delivering operational accountability and ownership across various units at Cobre Panama site.

    The incumbent will be subject Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

    Environmental Responsibilities

  • Comply with current environmental regulations in Panama
  • Comply with the commitments contained in the Environmental Impact Studies and other additional studies in this regard, which apply to your area and activities.
  • Comply with the provisions of the Minera Panama Environmental Management System.
