Job description :
General Role Purpose (brief description of this job)
Reporting to the Supervisor Recruitment, the Officer Recruitment responsible for consulting with hiring managers / area to understand their recruitment needs, develop sourcing strategies to leverage diverse high calibre candidates, pre-screen candidates to assess their qualifications through a combination of behavioural and competency-based interviewing, monitor requisition status to ensure an efficient recruitment process.
Qualifications (required for job) & Knowledge & Experience
Core Specific Responsibilities & Expected Deliverables Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
Understand key business drivers, current business priority and critical issues of the Cobre Panama business / Function with which they are involved.
Advise business / Functions in depth on appropriate uses of competency frameworks and how to integrate into other management processes.
Establishes a feedback plan for the recruitment processes, according to the type of client and needs, monitors the market and identifies candidates with high potential, based on the results of tests and behavioral interviews, and proactively presents these candidates with high potential to their clients.
Creates, delivers and facilitates actions that implement competence assessment and development through communication, collaboration and influence with the organization, teams and individuals.
Drafts recruitment advertisements; posts and / or places ads in the most effective digital and / or print media for open positions.
Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates. Constant search for potential candidates to proactively fill positions with high turnover of their areas / Clients, keeping the talent pool (Talent Database) equipped with potential candidates.
Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications.
Connects qualified candidates with hiring managers. Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
Vets potential employee's credentials. Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical / industry community and marketplace.
Attends job fairs and industry conferences; runs company booth at job fairs. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Operational Requirements
Cobre Panama is a remote site. This exciting position is based off-site and will be focusing on driving and delivering operational accountability and ownership across various units at Cobre Panama site.
Rosters and working hours may vary depending on business requirements and occasional travel to the site is required.
