What's The Role? The Director of IoT and Private Network Strategy Enablement ensures all LLA IoT and Dedicated Private Networks Strategies are aligned across the business units and supports the IoT and Private Network Product function to build the correct products and enablers to facilitate the growth of this segment of solutions for our B2B Customers.
Working hand in hand with LLA OpCo’s Commercial Value Proposition and Sales teams, this senior leader will develop the IoT and Private Network strategy, set the market potential, work closely with Sales teams to support complex sales efforts along with partners, support the Product function in establishing a high-level partner ecosystem to support customer needs, support the build of Value Propositions and Go To Market Strategies and ultimately responsible for the growth of the IoT and Private Network segment across all LLA markets.
This role has overall responsibility for the IoT and Private Network Strategy, Identifying potential sales pipelines supporting Sales teams and leveraging partner salesforce, leveraging market intelligence to drive increased penetration and growth, supporting the definition of Value Propositions, pricing, margins, cost recommendation, Go To Market strategy recommendation and success will be measured by meeting overall IoT and Private Networks P&L targets.
The ideal candidate is an expert in IoT and Private Networks, with a very strong Commercial background, either in Product, Sales, or Business Development, ent and has prior experience driving an IoT business either for a Telco or adjacent industry.
The Director of IoT and Private Network Strategy understands the market, what are the trends driving the market, and our competitive position to grow the IoT and Private Network business and ensure LLA becomes the regional leader in this space driving significant revenue growth with growing margins with scale.
What You ll Do The Director of IoT and Private Network Strategy Enablement will also be responsible for : Idealize, Propose and specify new IoT and Private network opportunities across the LLA footprint, working closely with Sales, Partners, Value Proposition, and Product teams.
Define and prioritize key verticals to maximize opportunity value in the IoT and Private Network space Support the Value Proposition teams in defining and building IoT and Private Network offerings Be a thought leader on IoT verticals, and prioritize based on opportunity.
Deliver exceptional YoY growth of our B2B IoT and Private network revenues, with improved margins as business scales, and ensure this segment becomes a key contributor to our OCF and OFCF.
Support Sales teams where necessary to drive sales results and ensure we keep a healthy sales pipeline across all Operating Businesses Work with the Product team to ensure IoT and Private Network strategy is supported by the right solutions, partners, and products.
Support the Product team and Commercial teams in Capital needs and planning ensuring we remain a disciplined capital allocator by working hand in hand with OpCo and the rest of the Product team.
Ensure our Offerings, Products and overall Value Propositions have the right support structure behind them through internal Support functions, partners, and vendors ensuring our customers benefit from a world-class service LLA is known for Align with Operation businesses to keep and up to date Long Range plan for Top Line growth as well as an end to end Capital allocation for IoT and Private Networks that provides our Executive team a clear directional view of where we are going over the next 3-5 years.
Support M&A activity where and when required as the subject matter expert of our IoT and Private Network offerings, products, and strategy.
Work with the Product team to ensure our products are seamlessly deployed in key markets and customers as well as key verticals are properly supported.
Shared ownership with the Product and Commercial team of the overall Product and P&L KPIs for IoT and Private networks working hand in hand with Commercial and Product teams to maximize the value of our products Key Accountabilities : Work with the LLA OpCo’s Commercial teams to support sales, value propositions, business planning exercises, scenario planning, and business case definition as well as drive Product adoption and performance in Value proposition across LLA.
Define IoT and Private Network Strategy across LLA and ensure alignment across Commercial, Technology, Operations, Partners, and Support.
Drive IoT and Private Network sales and revenues by partnering with OpCo Sales and Value Proposition teams Understand competitive landscape and market dynamics to ensure LLA stays ahead of competition and becomes the leader in IoT and Private Networks.
Identify key partners and work with Product team on partner enablement Support the build out of our IoT Centre of Excellence Ensure we build partnerships that go beyond technology and include support and sales enagements Build and maintain the IOT and Private Network strategy, including delivering the Long Range Plan, Sales forecasts in partnership with Sales teams, Costs in partnership with our partner ecosystem, Product team, Supply chain and Procurement.
Overall responsibility for IoT vertical priority and strategy. Support the Product team to enable key products and partners to deliver IoT and Private Network strategy.
Support sales teams when required Support value proposition teams when required. Knowledge & Experience : Strong industry experience with a background in product management / development Strong sales and business development experience Subject Matter expert in IoT and Private Networks with prior lifecycle experience from opportunity to customer execution Strong understanding of IoT & Private Network market and expertise with Large Enterprise & Governments segments Deep understanding of IoT verticals especially applied to Latin America.
Deep understanding of IoT & Private Network partners, vendors and overall ecosystem Deep understanding of IoT & Private Network economics, from costs to pricing.
Strong mix of Commercial and Technical knowledge, with a keen ability to build both internal and external partnerships Strong analytical skills Comfort working in a distributed matrix and across diverse geographies and markets Experience working in a cross functional and distributed environment Prior people management experience a must Skills & Abilities : Strong planning, reporting, written and verbal communication skills Experience in customer insights and research Strong strategy planning, financial acumen, business development skills Ability to drive improvement programs across diverse and complex environments.
Strong record of people management (direct or indirect) including communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills Proven ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working partnerships at all levels through a collaborative approach.
Demonstrate strong influencing and persuading skills, encourage colleagues and teams to change established processes and achieve improvements and best practice.
Timeliness in all actions with quality consciousness towards services received and provided. Preferred education / qualifications : Bachelor level, Technology or Business degree required Master’s degree in Business Management is preferred.
Strong experience leading and IoT and Private network organization is highly desirable Minimum fifteen (15) years of work-related experience is highly preferred.
Telecom or High-Tech Experience especially in IoT segment preferred Fluency in English required. Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
