Procurement at Nestlé :

To ensure that Nestlé achieves its objective of sustainablegrowth, a new Procurement Division is being created with hubs in Switzerland,Panama and Malaysia.

They will provide a range of services, including themanagement of procurement for specific raw materials, packaging, indirectmaterials and other services.

The hubs will also support markets with managinglocal spend.

In order to implement and drive the success of our newprocurement model and to complete the Global Media team, we are looking for ahighly competent Regional StrategicBuyer for Media based in Panama

Reporting directly to the Global CategoryLeader, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the categorystrategy for Media buying on a regional level, utilizing strategic sourcingprocesses, tools and policies.

What will be your keyresponsibilities?

  • Perform supplier market / category / supply riskanalysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvementopportunities in media and programmatic Media agencies and Media Buyingacross American markets.
  • Negotiate Media deals and contracts with MediaAgencies (and Media Suppliers where required) ensuring the most beneficialcommercial agreements with partners in line with the global sourcing strategy.
  • Manage the relationship with various stakeholdersand align them to integrate category global plans and strategies.
  • In partnership with Supplier RelationshipManagement Experts, lead the planning and regular contract SLA reviews withsuppliers and other functional partners.
  • Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate BusinessPrinciples, policies and standards
  • What is required?

  • University degree in Procurement, BusinessAdministration or Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years in sourcing for marketingcategories, ideally gained with or within media, ideally some experience inprogrammatic.
  • Deep understanding of Media Buying.

  • Proven track record in working across theorganization with different teams / cultures in complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated successful use of risk management,responsible sourcing and supplier relation management.
  • Good negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, openminded, quick learner.
  • Understanding of National and InternationalProcurement Regulations.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, another languagewill be an asset.
