What's The Role?

The Digital Operations Manager / Scrum Master will act as a servant leader for the digital marketing team by facilitating clear communication to management and to the team.

The Scrum Master drives Agile and Lean frameworks that result in quality project delivery and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, this individual (they / she / him) will be responsible for facilitating agile ceremonies, maintaining backlogs and reporting progress on digital marketing initiatives across different markets to ensure the team achieves commercial goals and drives business impact.

What You ll Do

  • Lead our digital marketing operations by using the principles of agile marketing and acting as a scrum master and servant leader for the digital marketing team.
  • Facilitating Scrum and Agile ceremonies such as : Sprint Planning, Daily Sprint, Sprint Reviews and Sprint Retrospectives.
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of the different Digital Marketing projects, identifying priority areas, creating an environment of collaboration within the teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts.
  • Manage the backlog and work with the marketing channel leads to ensure that consistent plans are produced and maintained so that all parts of the marketing strategy are moving forward as one.
  • Champion continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase productivity; coach organization to conduct continuous improvement events.
  • Communicate organizational impediments to leadership; clear impediments for the team.
  • Embrace the concept of continuous learning in your own journey and instill the same in the team(s) you coach.
  • Appreciate the depths of Lean and Agile practices and principles, help teams appreciate them.
  • Teach systems thinking and servant leadership.
  • Compile regular progress reports in relation to our initiatives.
  • Work closely with the performance and commercial planning team to ensure initiatives are aligned with sales targets and track progress towards goals.
  • Preferred education / qualifications

  • BS / BA degree or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Specific Knowledge & Experience

  • Expertise with Agile and Scrum frameworks and their application in Product Development and delivery organization.
  • Ability to coach and mentor.
  • Experience using agile frameworks in marketing teams and business context.
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence people at various levels.
  • Ability to leverage skills from coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution and more to serve stakeholders.
  • Possess an executive presence and ability to coach multiple individuals.
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology strategies.
  • Ability to leverage capabilities across the business to solve problems.
  • Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated effectiveness at working in a cross-functional, matrix organization to project manage and deliver results.
  • Strong project management / organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously for different teams targeting different audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, English and Spanish, ability to form strong business relationships across multiple locations.
  • Proven ability to operate flexibility in complex and dynamic working environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to empower and motivate individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Team player with the ability and desire to work out problems when they occur.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across various departments within the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills experience with reporting and data analysis.
