Lead, Social Media Marketing LATAM

Location : Panama Reports to : Manager, Digital Marketing- LATAM

Summary :

Social Media Marketing Lead will be responsible for executing the Social Media Marketing Strategy across LATAM markets.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing social media accounts for a high profile consumer brand, great project management skills, and a passion for digital content development and community management.

  • Responsible to plan and execute the LATAM social media marketing strategy through the consumer engagement plan.
  • Design the social media marketing strategy that will inform brand, programming and channels on an annual level as well as specific campaigns.
  • With the help of the agency, maintain and update daily editorial calendar for category social handles across all platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Track and traffic creative assets to cross-functional partners (regional social leads, brand social lead, athletes, performance marketing team, etc.)
  • Leverage social listening tools to monitor and respond to conversations on owned channels and around relevant brand and category topics.
  • Set clear performance KPIs for each individual LATAM market
  • Lead collaboration with local content producers, creative and social agencies to establish, own and execute media content strategy and cadence
  • Collaborate with global social media team to align social communication cadence and joint opportunities
  • Partner with Regional Brand for content and build additional content to tailor to the LATAM markets
  • Establish and implement innovation and growth strategies to keep pace with changing Media and Social landscape
  • Analyze social / digital data to optimize LATAM markets' Digital content & strategies; measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals / KPIs
  • Work with cross functional Marketing partners across Brand, eComm, Retail and Sports Marketing (in markets) to align relevant content.
  • Key partnerships include, but not limited to LATAM Marketing team, Local Marketing Teams in LATAM markets, Global CE and Social Media teams, and Agency partners : including Media Planning and Social Media agencies.
  • Skills and Experience :

  • Expertise in the Social Media landscape to drive brand health and brand revenue
  • Experience in leveraging social and digital in a consumer journey to drive brand health and commerce
  • Ability to program multi-layered cross functional social media communication plans
  • Ability to adopt strategies to local markets' diverse dynamics
  • Analytical, able to create and direct KPIs, scorecarding and optimize plans.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace, always changing environment
  • Work well with diverse / matrixed teams
  • Creative problem solver with high initiative
  • Effective partner management
  • Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Management of 3rd Party Social Media agency responsible for the social communication in LATAM
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-4 years social media management experience
  • Degree of certificate in Marketing, Communications, Digital Management, Social Media or applicable degree
  • Perfect knowledge of new trends, developments and opportunities in social media and digital marketing scene
  • Previous experience working with social media and creative agencies
  • Experience in web analytics tools such as Omniture
  • Experience with social media management platforms such as Sprinklr
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Experience of digital media buying and paid social programming
  • Ability to handle many tasks at once and deliver high-quality output every time, on time.
  • Ability to motivate and lead others in the development and execution of projects, including ideation and execution.
  • Work well with tight deadlines and under pressure in a team environment.
