We seek a Implementation Officer for Panama office to design, implement and maintain the risk manual, the risk matrix, forms, process , procedures and all the necessary documentation to comply with the Law 23 of Panama related to the prevention of the money laundering, terrorism and fraud and others related laws or regulations and make sure that a company is conducting its business in full compliance with all national and international laws and regulations.

Main responsibilities will include :

  • To support and assist with designing and implementing compliance manual aligns with rules contained in Law 23 of the Government of Panama another rules or regulations related and the company policies and procedures
  • To support to the design and implementation of the risk matrix
  • To perform together with the operative departments the implementation of the know your customer and due diligence questionnaire
  • To know all the policies and rules of the company based on compliance and be the main contact before authorities or stakeholders as required or during any internal of external audits.
  • The preferred candidate will be :

  • Preferable graduated or specialized in a career related to : Legal, audit, quality, business administration
  • Knowledgeable in tasks related to compliance, legal requirements or auditing
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret business documents and government regulations
  • Ability to design, conduct and update compliance risk assessments, and compliance manuals
  • Good communication skills and command of the in English and Spanish language (both oral and written).
  • This is a part time job, the employee must attend to the office 3 times per week, the candidate needs to live in Panama and have a valid work permit to work in this country.
