Job Description

The Fixed Wireless Access and Roaming Mobile Product Lead will provide Liberty Latin America (LLA) with consistent and coherent mobile product quality for both new and existing products including but not limited to mobile offers, apps, campaigns and OTT services and network and product implementation support for all new and existing LLA mobile products in LATAM through testing, training and immediate post implementation support.

  • Develop and own the product vision and roadmap for 3GPP and proprietary Fixed Wireless products, international and national roaming including all the value added services ecosystem, LTE and 5G networks, keeping teams updated on the top level goals, timelines and progress.
  • Manage the relationships between external and internal clients in order to achieve a pleasant and productive work environment.
  • Design and manage the CAPEX and OPEX of the new product development in a way that are cost effective and implemented in the required time to market.
  • Define, document and manage product acceptance and testing criteria.
  • Ensure customer facing functions like sales and support are properly trained on existing and new products implemented across the LLA operating business units.
  • Monitor performance of those functions to ensure quality is maintained.

  • Prepare, coordinate and support the introduction of field trials where necessary to support the potential introduction of new products into an LLA market.
  • Bachelor level, Technology, Engineering Field or Business degree required
  • Recognized experience managing roaming products.
  • Recognized experience developing fixed wireless access products.
  • Knowledge & Experience :

  • At least 5 years developing and implementing mobile products with emphasis in Fixed Wireless Access and Roaming.
  • At least 5 years training different organizations
  • At least 3 years working effectively, presenting and getting buy in from executive and senior management
  • Skills & Abilities :

  • Strong quality management skills and practice experience implementing best practices in a technology organization
  • Strong testing management skills and hands on experience with testing best practices.
  • Familiar with the overall product development lifecycle
  • Comfortable working in a matrix and geographically distributed organizational structure
  • Background working closely with both internal and external customers
  • Experience working in a cross functional environment managing multiple simultaneous initiatives
  • Strong record of people management (direct or indirect) including communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working partnerships at all levels through a collaborative approach.
  • Demonstrate strong influencing and persuading skills, encourage colleagues and teams to change established processes and achieve improvements and best practice.
  • Timeliness in all actions with quality consciousness towards services received and provided.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to form strong business relationships across multiple locations.
