Job description :

General Role Purpose (brief description of this job)

Demonstrates positive customer service when performing the role of Receptionist, with visitors, and MPSA staff. The Receptionist also provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Panama city office.

Qualifications (required for job) & Knowledge & Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • Prior office experience required.
  • Active listening skills
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish required.
  • Core Specific Responsibilities & Expected Deliverables Welcome on-site visitors, assist them appropriately, and always provide excellent customer service to both the visitors and fellow staff members.

    Answer a multiple line phone system, manage calls by routing them to the proper extensions or taking messages and delivering them within our message system along with setting up conference calls as requested.

    Manage the building log of who is entering and exiting the building Accept deliveries and mail, organize them to be distributed to the correct recipients using the office mailing system and ensure they get to the recipient in a timely manner while also managing outgoing mail and packages for pickup.

    Serve as the face of the company, offering friendly service to those entering the building or calling in on the phone. Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.

    Deliver messages and run errands. Perform routine administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to callers.

    Perform other related duties as required.

    Operational Requirements

    Cobre Panama is a remote site. This exciting position is based off-site and will be focusing on driving and delivering operational accountability and ownership across various units at Cobre Panama site.

    Rosters and working hours may vary depending on business requirements.

    Environmental Responsibilities Comply with current environmental regulations in Panama Comply with the commitments contained in the Environmental Impact Studies and other additional studies in this regard, which apply to your area and activities.

    Comply with the provisions of the Minera Panama Environmental Management System.
