Training Coordinator, Clinique, LDM
The Education Coordinator is responsible for the successful execution of the education curriculum for their markets in alignment with the Global / Regional education strategy.
Through a conglomeration of in-class and in store training, this role ensures to develop high performance teams that will deliver Simple Amazing experiences to Clinique consumers on a daily basis.
In partnership with the National Retail Sales Manager, he / she will create education plans that address Field Coordinators, Consultant and Manager needs to achieve productivity goals.
They will analyze results, performances and profiles to define the best action plan for people development and talent planning.
This role will ensure that the Clinique Consultant’s community will develop a robust expertise on products, services and beauty trends.
The Education Coordinator is a leader who will infuse passion and enthusiasm into the teams, identify top talent, and encourage successful behaviors and practices while addressing key opportunities.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Leadership in providing an excellent client experience at all levels of the field organization.
Define & execute education programs for the year according to Global / Regional Strategy.
Lead seminar planning, managing budget and ensuring proper seminar allocations to educate all Clinique Consultants and Field teams in accordance with Clinique Retail education standards.
Measure education success through pre- agreed KPI’s, such us accreditation %, turnover, YTS as % of sales.
Analyze seminar’s impact on sales, client experience and loyalty.
Oversees the training of all Field Trainers on product knowledge, client experience and application techniques.
Leads seminar execution while ensuring education teams develop ability to execute successful and inspiring seminars.
Partner with Retail / Sales teams on building the Clinique Brand as well as the expected performance through the development, motivation, service and consultation skills of the consultants and managers.
Lead efforts to translate and adjust as needed all global programs to make them locally relevant.
Support the Retail / Sales teams in identifying and developing any specific material that needed to be deployed.
o Coach and develop strengths and capabilities of the field team. Develop a career path and development plans for them, in partnership with Retail / Sales.
o Spend time in store coaching the field team on all aspects of retail including; consumer journey, planning, goal setting and follow up, retail math for managers, retail execution, people development, visual merchandising and service skills, all in conjunction with Sales and Education.
Counter / Store Manager Development.
Work with Sales on the deployment and follow up of the retail education program including the Counter Manager Accreditation, P TD.
Coach the field to run regular monthly manager meetings that motivate and inspire managers to be entrepreneurial and successful in running their business.
Train, delegate to and lead Field Coordinators to develop their leadership, service and business skills
Ensure that a coaching culture is present in every store, where everyone receives timely acknowledgement for their successes and feedback on all areas of opportunity.
Ensure that education teams receive quarterly development meetings and plans.
Ensure that all new store staff successfully complete their onboarding training before assuming their responsibilities.
Conduct staff training classes as necessary.
Ensure that product knowledge training is scheduled and successfully completed
Build a team with advanced product expertise and service skills.
Ensure that the team is fully trained on corporate initiatives and store policy and procedures, including the FSS Manual of Operations.
Encourage cross-training between Makeup Coach, Education coach and Visual Merchandising / Operations coach.
Partnering with all retail teams to ensure sufficient education support across all platforms, including e-learning.
Responsible for delivering all the seminar according to the Clinique Global Education Curriculum
Help and facilitate the teams to deliver the high-touch experience.
Discuss strategy and advise Clinique Consultants team on how to manage multiple clients, timing, etc.
Works collaboratively with Brand / Education Regional Directors to secure educational assets needed for account education needs.
Minimum Education level : University Degree, in Business Administration, Communication or Education
Minimum Years of Experience : 4 years relevant work experience, including 2 years of experience in Field Sales preferable
Travel Time : Travel 50%-60%. Traveling as required by the geographic coverage.
Required Language Proficiency : Bilingual (English & Spanish) Fluent

Proficient in MS Office
Participates in business meetings according to management request
Leads execution of education seminars.
Write memos, reports and presentations for management, performance reviews, KPI s, etc
