In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better

Become part of Philips Cloud Orchestration Team and contribute towards implementing cloud strategy. This includes running services on-prem and in cloud, drive cost optimization, manage partners in everyday operations of cloud service in architecture and technical governance.

You are responsible for

Provide leadership during complex troubleshooting and major incidents along with Partners, Suppliers, OEMs, and Platform service managers

Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure capacity and demand forecasts including day-to-day monitoring and tracking of cloud capacity & resource management for all services

Data Center and cloud consumption chargeback reporting, spend control, etc.

Maintain and manage contracts with Suppliers and govern based on the entry, payment, maintenance, and exit clauses

Coordinate with Platform Service managers and Partner Service Delivery Lead to log incoming cloud service demand and provide recommendations for commitments.

Create Cloud cost optimization framework and Governance mechanism using native and 3rd party tool

Create metrics, reports, and recommended remediation options and plans for financial excellence in the cloud

Service Now process management work with the service now developers and create the process flow.

Managing the infrastructure hosting demands and assigning them to the right stakeholders.

Regular interactions with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas and / or customers are also part of the job.

To succeed in this role, you will need a customer-first attitude and the following

A Masters’ degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar

Overall 15+ years of experience, Project, Service Delivery, cost management Experience (5+ years)

5+ years of experience in Cloud technology, VMWare

Expertise in the area of On-premise infrastructure, VMware, cloud migration, and HCI

Experience with network routing, switching & security

Knowledge of designing SD-WAN and LAN networks using varied Technologies such as VMWare NSX, CISCO Firepower, RiverBed etc.

Understanding of Public Cloud infrastructure and PaaS services (AWS / GCP / Azure).

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and automation orchestrating through Cloud

Analyze the Cloud cost consumption pattern and provide optimization plans.

Lead the cost optimization process using reserved instances and savings plans.

Gather requirements and assist internal customers to express their needs and forecast their cloud usage.

Support our procurement teams for contract renewal and negotiations.

Knowledge of ITIL processes.

Knowledge of ITSM tool (Service NOW), Power Bi, MS Excel, SQL Queries, and Cloud-native cost management tools.

Working knowledge on cloud chargeback reporting, show back, reserved instances, spend control, etc.

Provide IT management with cost reports and KPIs.

Experience in vendor management, SLA / OLAs, negotiations, and escalations

Experienced in Agile Methodology / DevOps / Lean methodologies
