Overview
Over the last two years, Special Olympics Latin America has undergone significant organizational change as part of a new and ambitious growth strategy plan for 2021-2024.
We are now looking to appoint a Partnership and Develop Manager to join our dynamic and ambitious Regional Office team structure to effectively deliver our new Strategic Plan.
Responsibilities :
Corporate, focus on devising and implementing a successful program of fundraising from the corporate sector
Develop and Implement the strategies to guarantee the execution of the overall corporate goals.
Manage corporate partnerships to secure income for Special Olympics Latin America.
Identify, secure and develop new corporate partnership opportunities, focusing on corporate donations, sponsorship opportunities, employee fundraising, and payroll giving.
Develop Relations with regional companies to identify and implement strategies for securing multinational and local program partnerships.
Develop strategies to expand new and existing relationships among National Programs that could lead to regional alliances and sponsorships opportunities.
Prepare ongoing sponsors' reports, documenting benefits delivered.
International Funds mainly focused on raising funds from grant-making bodies, including trusts, foundations, and other organizations.
Identify and develop strategic financial support from foundations, aid agencies or nongovernmental organizations, corporate foundations and other multilateral organizations with the clear objective of achieving growth in income and diversification of funding for Special Olympics programming.
Write proposals, create comprehensive and standardized materials and presentation.
Complete grant applications to obtain outside funding from organizational partners.
Individual Giving, focus on the support the individual Giving strategy, in both acquisition and retention of donors.
Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to increase support from individuals.
Create specific plans for donor acquisition, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship throughout the year.
Implement strategies to increase overall giving levels of annual fund donors.
Events, identify and support the execution fundraising event
Plan and implement regional special events
Manage relationships with external vendors and internal departments to create successfully events
Design, manage, and facilitate fundraising events in conjunction with National Programs, like galas, sports events, and any other fundraising events
Provide on-site marketing support for regional events
Other Job Duties
Share "best practices" with Headquarters and National Programs.
Monitor tracks and follow up on documentation, case files, or other assignments to ensure appropriate timelines are met and actions completed.
Undertake other ad-hoc assignments as may be requested.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Marketing or related field, with two years of development experience in a professional fundraising environment
Proven ability to meet fundraising targets
Experience and proven ability to cultivate relationships and work effectively with coworkers, board members, donors, volunteers, and constituents from a variety of backgrounds
Good knowledge of the philanthropic sector - foundations, companies, and high net worth individuals
Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office
Ability to Travel
