What's the role :
The VP, B2B Product, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, plays a critical executive position in the company and responsible for the development and execution of our end to end B2B product strategy.
You and your team will work with your peers across markets and business units to define difficult problems and deliver solutions that delight our customers.
You’ll ensure major product initiatives are executed well and achieve good outcomes. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the B2B Product organization, including strategy, innovation, labs, development and delivery.
Knowledge and Experience :
Graduate level (Bachelors or higher) degree in an Engineering related field. Significant technical centric job experience (15 yrs plus) can count in place of technical degree. MBA is a plus
Experience with Design Thinking and Agile scaling methodologies a strong plus
Requires extensive proven experience (10-15 years) of performing an executive level function within an international technology environment.
Define and execute upon a transformation strategy delivering the committed benefits while mitigating the risks to business continuity.
Control & manage multimillion dollar OPEX & CAPEX budgets
Extensive proven experience of project management techniques including planning, resource allocation, prioritization and escalation within an international telecom environment.
Demonstrate strong influencing and persuading skills, encourage colleagues and teams to change established processes and achieve improvements and best practice
Expert knowledge of product management techniques and the ability to coach and mentor teams of product managers
Strong initiative for anticipating and meeting customer and business demands, an ability to thrive in a fast-paced and uncertain environment, a high level of intellectual curiosity, and a focus on taking ownership and initiative
Move between the strategic 30,000 ft-view and tactical activity levels on a daily basis, focusing on the high level and product details simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, market trends, technical concepts, and evaluate new ideas
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, product management skills, great communication, leadership, and collaboration skills

What you'll do :
Obsessed with customer experience and delivering solutions that matter to B2B customers
Evangelize effective B2B product discovery and delivery throughout the organization
Owns a key part of the core customer journey from a product perspective (eg. SMB enablers, Enterprise solutions)
Responsible for creating and maintaining the product vision and strategy
Defines key outcomes, objectives and goals for the product organization within their part of the customer journey
Identifies and monitors key customer problems and determines how to measure solution effectiveness at solving customer problems or creating customer value
Actively works with commercial leaders and customers to gather customer feedback on the products
Responsible for the product strategy and meeting the objectives and goals of the organization
Partner with commercial leaders and peers to develop strategies for the product to solve market problems
Conduct and evaluate surveys and market analysis; monitor competitors
Define archetypal customers and create a product vision with customer obsession at the core of your vision
Provide support for high-touch clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment
Define and implement a prioritization framework for discovery and delivery
Define product value, usability, feasibility, and business objectives, and communicate them to stakeholders clearly
Communicate regularly and actively with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Business, and Support
Define release strategy & milestones, and creates roadmaps organized by clear themes
Focus teams on delivering value to customers and optimizing outcome-based metrics
Build alignment cross-functionally and build alignment to the product team vision throughout the organization using presentations and roadmaps, and align the roadmap to strategic initiatives and metrics in collaboration with internal business partners
Review usage, engagement, and customer metrics weekly
Makes build vs buy decisions and evaluates options for achieving goals that don’t involve new product development
Technical design, development and delivery of Consumer & Business products innovations
Define and manage product requirements including customer requirements from Operating Companies, CMO & Commercial to create ONE harmonized product portfolio
