  • Manages sales development, strategy and implementation in region.
  • Initiates and supports business development and growth activities with prospective and existing accounts through the efforts of the Sales Force and personal efforts. Accounts include :
  • OEM accounts
  • Government accounts
  • Misc. and others Strives continuously to improve effectiveness and professionalism of the Sales Force. This focus area includes both personal development of the sales team as well as their ability to share their knowledge as listed below :
  • Sales effectiveness
  • Product knowledge
  • Industry knowledge
  • Application knowledge
  • Business knowledge
  • Negotiation skills
  • Competitive intelligence
  • Reporting
  • Develops sales goals and accepts responsibility for the achievement of those goals based upon company targets.
  • Monitors and manages Sales Force reporting and SFDC compliance
  • Drives new business growth in line with company expectations.
  • Participates and communicates new product development needs based upon unmet needs of the Industrial Vacuum Industry.
  • Responsible for developing compensation schemes and promotional activities to motivate and grow sales.
  • Responsible for staffing levels within the sales department to ensure appropriate coverage and territory penetration.
  • Any additional duties and responsibilities as stipulated by the V.P. / General Manager.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field of study.

  • Minimum of ten years of sales management experience. Industrial sales experience preferred.

  • Excellent sales management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze financial data and develop sound growth strategies
  • Ability to establish meaningful sales goals and metrics
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Team player, able to interact with all functional areas and all organizational levels

  • Proficiency in use of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Proficiency in use of SFDC
  • Thisposition must reside in the central and eastern region of the United States
