In order to implement and drive thesuccess of this new procurement model, we are looking for a highly competent experiencedProcurement Manager based in Panama, responsible for managing the commercialand sourcing activities for the Solid Board Packaging used by Nestlé.
Reporting directly to the CategoryManager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the purchasing strategy,for the spend in scope, at regional level utilizing strategic sourcingprocesses, tools and policies.

To ensure that Nestlé achieves itsobjective of sustainable growth, a new Procurement Division was just createdwith hubs in Switzerland, Panama and Malaysia.
They provide a range ofservices, including the management of procurement for specific raw materials,packaging, indirect materials and other services.
The hubs also support marketswith managing local spend.
Perform supplier market / category / supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities.
Develop & Execute category strategy for spend in scope.
Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy.
Manage the relationship with various stakeholders to integrate category plans and outcomes in local budgets and price planning.
Lead the planning and regular contract Service Level Agreement and Performance objectives reviews with suppliers and other functional partners.
Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards.
Manage a complex and fast paced category with thousands of items.
University degree in Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics or Finance.
Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing
Experience in the Packaging Category a strong plus.
Successful track record in handling negotiations.
Excellent relationship and communication skills.
Demonstrated success in risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relation management.
Ability to manage several projects and changes simultaneously.
Understanding of National and International Procurement Regulations.
Fluent in English with Chinese as a strong plus.
Change ambassador, successful record for proposing innovative ideas and challenging ways of working.
Efficient use of data management tools (advanced Excel).
