A key element of this strategy was the design of a new way to support its suite of 30 brands globally. The company chose Panama as being best suited to establish its Global Business Services (GBS) operation center.

This center will initially deliver Finance, Human Resources and Legal services to ELC employees across several geographies and time zones.

Through a new innovative service minded approach, this center will redefine service standards globally at ELC. GBS team will provide a one-stop-shop solution for the ELC businesses, supported by new customer engagement insights, new systems, and new reporting.

In addition to delivering exceptional service to the ELC businesses each day, the GBS team will also be responsible for continuously streamlining work in pursuit of growing its service offering in support of achieving ELC’s strategic and business objectives.


  • Own financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis for all the activities being transitioned from ELC Corporate and regions to Panama and Budapest, HU
  • Develop Capex COE and Capex house in Panama to become bets in class
  • Build trusted relationships with senior executives and functional leadership in regions and Corporate functions
  • Drive operational excellence in all areas of FP&A, Integrated Reporting Hub and TR Pricing
  • Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team
  • Optimize monthly, quarterly, & annual forecasting processes and variance reporting, partnering with our Global and regional FP&A teams

  • Oversee vendors and contracts, negotiate terms, manage renewals and eliminate waste when necessary (EY and Genpact)
  • Partner with the FP&A Corporate Teams including FP&A COEs to evolve systems and processes to ensure accurate, detailed financial reporting
  • Generate P&L insights for management, both top-line and expense related
  • Expand upon areas of opportunity with follow-up analyses and recommendations
  • Assist with Board and investor packages, including Finance and Strategy presentations
  • Model for various scenarios, run sensitivity analyses
  • Transformational Mindset to challenge the status quo and embrace Digital One Finance initiatives for FP&A and Capex
  • Enhance Customer Experience pulsing regularly the stakeholder base to set up CI programs to exceed CSAT

  • Qualifications

  • 5+ years FP&A and / or Finance experience
  • Strong management and leadership skills, with an excitement to both roll up your sleeves and be a thoughtful, company-wide partner.
  • Desire to be an integral part of building something world-class.
  • Expert Excel chops, including modeling and data analytics.
  • A sharp intellect with an unquenchable curiosity.
  • Results-oriented, organized, efficient and resourceful team player that excels in a dynamic environment.

  • Experience managing and developing a large and diverse team
  • Be a Self-Starter and detail oriented.
