Lead a team of systems administrators ensuring systems availability and systems integrity.
Lease directly with the Caterpillar dealer regarding hardware replacements, new installations and spares.
Manage the TSC ticket system from site to dealer and Caterpillar, ensuring all TSC's are closed off in a timely fashion and systems improvements are communicated and implemented.
Ensuring all systems are kept up to date with the latest builds and patches
Work closely with ICT for server availability and patch upgrades.
Ensuring correct stock levels are kept.
Oversee and support Software and Technical aspects of all Fleet Management platforms.
Oversee and support the configuration and maintenance of MineStar Fleet, MineStar Health, DSS CPU, MineStar Terrain and High Precession GPS Applications.
Oversee and support the configuration of DSS fatigue modules consisting of DSS processor units, IR pods, dash cameras, speakers and vibrating units.
Ensuring calibration of high precision applications are maintained.
Active monitoring of on board files.
Oversee and plan Flashing of HIM's as required.
Oversee and support G407 and G610 on board file maintenance, software updates and calibrations.
Software maintenance and periodic network analysis of the in pit Mesh Network for maximum availability.
Assist geotechnical and de-watering with software deployments and systems management tasks.
Oversee and lease directly with Maintenance Department Electrical Coordinator for hardware replacements, new installations and in field repairs to ensure maximum systems availability.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline.
Minimum 5 years' managing and monitoring of large scale Fleet Management Systems.
Caterpillar Minestar Fleet modules an advantage.
Previous experience configuring, installing and maintaining FMS systems hardware.
Strong English and Spanish language skills preferred.
