YOUR ROLE

ProvideProcess and Productivity Improvement leadership. Focus on analysis and recommendations todeliver True Efficiency to world class levels and greater productivity,efficiency, speed, flexibility, quality and lower costs.

  • Facilitate the development and reinforcement of behaviorsand attitudes that contribute to a culture of employee engagement that supportsthe goals of Henkel’s Continuous Improvement programs.
  • Design, develop andadminister appropriate Continuous Improvement training for all employees,including new hire safety orientation programs.
  • Create and maintain accurate,up-to-date, and complete records and documentation (Manuals and SOPs (StandardOperating Procedure), as they relate to continuous improvement.
  • Achieve full certification for plantin HPS Henkel standards by directly supporting facility staff with policies,procedures, work instructions and training.
  • Supportcapability to achieve Supply Chain business requirements.Support scorecard documentation of metrics.Support continuous improvements to thedowntime tracking / analysis and response systems.
  • Lead HPS workshops(as workshop leader and / or team facilitator). Lead teams targeted against high loss areas.Ensure insight gained during intervention is incorporated in systemdocumentation (training, case studies, etc.
  • Acquire a solid understanding of run strategy and financialreporting / budgeting, including; yields, scrap, scorecard KPI's

  • Serves as primary interface with HPSHenkel Production System requirements
  • YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelors degree in related business / technical field or commensurate manufacturing experience as well as 3 to 5 plus years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
  • Excellent problem solving skills (group facilitation, conflict resolution) and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid project management skills including budgeting, cost / benefit analysis and project justification; strong computer skills are a must (experience with Microsoft Project preferred
  • Strong mechanical skills, knowledge of manufacturing equipment and experience in trouble shooting causes of production down time.
