Job description : Purpose
To train learners from the communities in the discipline of Instrumentation L1-3.
Key Accountabilities and Challenges
Operate within and observe all relevant and applicable laws of Panama.
Maintain HSE standards and ensure strict compliance within the mining area.
Ensure that learners are effectively trained in line with the ethos of the Company, and that they adhere to the material standards.
Ensure Learners achieve competencies within acceptable time frames, or if that this is not achieved take appropriate remedial action.
Work according to the procedures and use the approved training materials.
Conduct continuous assessments to measure the progress of the learners and to identify knowledge and skills gaps.
Identify strengths and weaknesses of individuals.
Manage and maintain all training material and equipment.
Report on training conducted within your discipline.
Capture and record all training completed.
Maintain and control tools and equipment per section
Implement FQM Way culture - "Bolder, Smarter, Driven, Together."
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management team.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Secondary school certificate
Qualified Instrumentation Technician (Level-3)
Train the Trainer Certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, OneNote
Strong ability to work in a "team" environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain self-discipline within a production environment.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Two years’ experience as a Trainer
Experience in a quarry or mine will be advantageous.
Fluency in Spanish is required. English will be beneficial.
Strength in cultural adaptability
The position is offered with a 5 / 2 roster. 5 days on 2 days off.
