KidsPeace, a national, non-profit organization that provides full continuum of mental and behavioral health services to pediatric patients and their families, announces an exciting opportunity for an accomplished executive to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Located an hour north of Philadelphia in the scenic Lehigh Valley, KidsPeace is dedicated to serving pediatric patients and their families by providing emotional and physical healthcare coupled with educational and rehabilitation services.
KidsPeace’s Continuum of Care services include a free-standing psychiatric hospital, residential programs, community-based treatment programs, education services and foster care programs.
KidsPeace has been serving the pediatric population for over 135 years and serves more than 11,000 young people annually in a variety of venues in eight states.
The CEO will be responsible for establishing and implementing a strategic plan that addresses improvement of financial performance, service and programmatic growth to meet the current and changing needs of the customer, quality, safety and service excellence.
The CEO will be instrumental in strengthening KidsPeace’s position within their defined markets as well as identifying additional business ventures that support and advance’s KidsPeace’s mission.
The CEO will serve as the chief organizational representative for public communications and relations and will develop new opportunities and resources through philanthropy, government relations, strategic alliances and new business development while assuring organizational compliance and solid relations with all regulatory, accrediting and other authorizing entities.
Successful candidates will have 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a multi-service, multi-site human services or related organizational setting and a history of success in Board relations.
A track record of excellent financial, strategic and operational performance, commitment to high quality and service excellence, community participation and a transformational leadership style are essential.
An advanced degree in Human Services or business is required.
