We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage recruitment in Central America recruiting across Panama, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica and Nicaragua, as well as supporting recruitment in Latin America Region as needed.

You could come from any industry (preferably within Financial Services) but must be forward thinking, have a passion for change and transformation.

With a strong recruiting background that would include early careers, experienced hires; you will utilize effective and strategic sourcing techniques to find inclusive and diverse talents.

What will the role entail?

  • Manage the entire life cycle of the recruiting process for assigned job openings
  • Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders including business leadership, HR generalists, global recruitment colleagues etc.
  • to ensure the utilization of a suite of sourcing strategies to hire diverse talents

  • Source candidates based upon a broad-based strategy with a focus on direct sourcing
  • Lead the recruitment transformation efforts and implementation of process change for Central America and strive for best practice as a team
  • Ensure recruitment technology is fit-for-purpose and enables efficient execution of the talent acquisition strategy
  • Continue to build and develop hiring analytics that track effectiveness of recruitment efforts and quality of hire and help shape the sourcing strategy
  • Manage and maintain active communication with candidates once they have entered our process; exit candidates professionally if they do not meet requirements
  • The Requirements what’s important to us

  • An experienced Talent Acquisition Lead with at least 5 years’ experience and who has managed regional recruitment in Latin America mainly in Central America recruiting across Panama, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica and Nicaragua
  • Must have gravitas and the ability to change gears at short notice and adapt to fast changing environments
  • A specialist who has enthusiasm and collaborates effectively within a matrix organization to support continuous improvement of processes and future talent strategies
  • Strong understanding of the cultural nuances within Central America (Panama, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica and Nicaragua) in order to influence appropriately
  • Experience in utilizing a wide range of technology, tools and concepts in order to attract diverse talent
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to utilize data to tell a story and set future strategy
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in human resources, business or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of full life cycle recruitment experience (desirable).
  • Must be bilingual (English and Spanish) with the ability to speak, read and write fluently in both languages. Portuguese a plus.
  • Ability to manage and ongoing requisition load of 20-30 openings
  • Significant experience consulting with hiring managers on recruitment strategies
  • Strong business acumen and ability to grasp new concepts quickly
  • Demonstrated direct sourcing / cold calling experience
  • Recruiting applicant tracking experience (Taleo highly preferred)
  • Experience managing Competencies Assessment tools and interview method
  • Knowledge handling interviewing tools as different sources to recruit
  • Experience working with disabilities recruitment as well as internships and apprentices
