What's The Role?

The Role defines and implemenet the Mobile Core Strategy acting as design authority for all LLA OpCos Mobile Core imple,entations.

The objective is to design the most cost-effective solutions to meet the business demands in terms of capacity and functionalities.

The role gathers the requirements from every local market, helping them to assess the competitive position and setting the right priorities aligned with the business strategy, improving NPS and reducing the cost to serve.

What You ll Do

  • Deliver the Mobile Core Strategy and Roadmap, delivering the CAPEX estimates and maintaining the yearly CAPEX plan across LLA for Mobile Core inititatives.
  • Lead Mobile Core life cycle management, providing anticipated plans for end of support and end of life systems decommissioning with the correspondent replacement alternative.
  • Assess and manage capacity planning.
  • Monitor the used capacity vs required capacity and identify potential bottlenecks, triggering expansions when required.
  • Build and manage vendor relationships, in order to get expedite access to the best information sources and to the right people within the vendor to get support for new projects and existing installed base.
  • Provide 3rd level support to Operations and quality assurance activities through Tier3 SPOC.
  • Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor level, Information Technology and / or comparable technical engineering degree.
  • Ideally educated to degree level or alternate appropriate industry experience with 10+ years of experience in planning, engineering of operations either on an operator or a vendor.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a large telco in a complex operational environment managing cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience engaging effectively with executive and senior level management.
  • Experience and appreciation of working in a customer focused environment essential.
