Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition Sourcer is responsible for partnering directly with regional Recruiters to provide top talent for the current / future vacancies.

Leverages various knowledge and technologies to actively research, develop, and implement sourcing strategies that drive engagement with diverse talent which supports ELC’s vision of becoming the "best home for talent."

Qualifications

As part of North America Talent Acquisition team, you will be a driving force behind our external talent attraction, sourcing, and engagement strategy.

You will manage and execute the critical initial step of the recruitment process - the search strategy. You will consult with hiring stakeholders on the what, where, and how of the sourcing strategy, including market data, trends, and the best sourcing channels to engage top talent including but not limited to passive candidates, diversity talent and applicants currently in the system.

You will be joining a highly driven and an innovative team that will encourage and allow you to create, test, and drive different sourcing strategies, methodologies, tactical practices, tools, technologies, and more.

This role must be able to move at a very fast pace and have a high ability to organize and prioritize based on a rapidly changing and growing retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate and present new recruitment sources and networking opportunities that will generate quality, diverse applicants.
  • Pipeline and maintain inclusive sourcing channels.
  • Partner with recruiters to implement new networking and sourcing strategies that will assist with enhancing candidate pipelines for current and future needs.
  • Leverage various knowledge and technologies to actively research, develop, and implement sourcing strategies that drive engagement with diverse talent.
  • This includes analytical thinking and application of various sourcing / recruitment channels / techniques, and tools.

  • Accurately post jobs as needed on all available talent platforms.
  • Post attractive content for Social Media distribution.
  • Directly source talent by utilizing a variety of techniques, tools, and sourcing channels.
  • Source passive and active candidates from job boards, our applicant tracking system (Taleo), the internet, social media, target companies, cold calling, networking groups, or any other combination of marketing mediums as established by integrated recruitment and marketing campaigns.
  • Prioritize sourcing efforts based on the direction of the ED Talent Management NA and Delivery Lead.
  • Develop creative approaches to identify, attract, and engage high quality candidates, while pursuing cost-containment options.
  • Provide NA Talent Leadership Team weekly sourcing activity report to include metrics, sourcing plans, priorities and initiatives.
  • Participate in meetings with the broader Talent Acquisition team to discuss new requisitions, priority postings and confidential searches.
  • Stay up to date with the employment market (start-up, marketing agencies, etc.) to best educate business and recruiting team.
  • Provide support and coordination in the recruitment process including interview scheduling and coordination as needed.
  • Experiment with other sourcing tools; fail quickly, learn and adapt with the goal of getting to better processes, strategies and tools to optimize results.
  • Maintain data integrity in systems and tools and follow up with internal / external stakeholders on the Talent Assessments (completion, results etc.)
  • Experience

  • Sourcing experience with special emphasis on using unique sourcing skills and recruitments practices to identify, engage, and convert the best talent into Company employees.
  • Experience assessing and identifying the needs of Hiring Managers and proven track record of developing creative sourcing strategy and candidate outreach.
  • Demonstrated experience to communicate research findings that influence the direction of the search strategy through methodologies such as talent and market mapping.
  • Experience in TA systems such as Applicant Tracking Systems and CRMs (Taleo & HireVue are strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the standard features of various personal computer word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and Power BI)
  • A strong understanding of search strings and sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
  • Current knowledge and understanding of D&I best practices including effective approaches to attraction, employment brand, recruitment processes, selection, and engagement.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, candidate relationships.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop further in recruiting.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of recruitment experience in retail or marketing space, ideally in beauty, luxury retail or consumer packaged goods, but not required
  • Deep search, talent sourcing and talent acquisition knowledge, and experience using Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, strong relationship building and interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and results orientation are all preferred qualifications for this role.
  • Internal consulting skills, with demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to consistent change, are also preferred.
  • A four-year bachelor’s degree is required.
