General Role Purpose (brief description of this job)

Purpose The Construction Administrator is responsible for the efficient running of the support systems that enable the construction and its people to work efficiently, the management and ordering of PPE and office consumables.

Managing and submitting travel requests and processing visitor permits. The administrator is responsible for managing the content of the department SharePoint page and the Document control process, ensuring that all documents are up to date and anyone who is responsible for document reviews attend to these in a timely manner

Education

BS degree in Administration.

Skills

Experience

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as workshop administrator.

Proven track record of success.

Ability to develop solutions in challenging environment.

Core Specific Responsibilities & Expected Deliverables

Key Accountabilities and Challenges

Provide general admin / data entry in the workshop

Input, modify and control department SharePoint Site.

Primary point for Managing

Document control for the departments, coordination of regular reviews of department documents

Coordination of travel and visitor entry

Assist in the coordination and ordering of PPE / uniforms requests and usage across workshops

Administration, monitoring and co-ordination of dept. competency scheme.

Management of Workshop Request for Service Database in SharePoint.

Provide administration support for the Technical Training facility as and when required.

Arrange and attend monthly department safety meetings, prepare minutes and distribute to all personnel involved. Track progress of actions on a regular basis.

Compile monthly reports for the tracking of overtime hours, personnel allocation and dept man-hours.

Ordering and monitoring of office consumables

Language

Fluency in English is required and proficiency in Spanish highly regarded. A willingness to undertake language training desirable
