This person is the commercial manager for the final clients located in the islands' management area (north of the Caribbean, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, among others).
Responsible for the entire electrification portfolio (medium voltage, low voltage equipment, electric chargers, engineering solutions, among others).
Visits to clients, exploration of final clients in coverage.
Understand the client's way of doing business, how the client conducts his business if he buys locally or in the USA, the client's purchasing behavior.
Keep the PL updated with ABB sales.
Responsible for achieving key targets (e.g. volume, price, and mix) for the segment(s) in the specified market. Creates detailed business plans, implements with regular follow-up.
Monitors market trends and recommends adjustments for the strategy and plans accordingly to meet changing market and competitive landscapes.
Provides appropriate market information for long- to mid-term decision making.
Creates and implements the communication, promotion and training activities in the segment.
Ensures the major accounts in the segment(s) are identified and prioritized. May act as Account Manager for one or more major accounts in the Country.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with the key customers in the target segment. Follows up ABB’s performance in fulfilling their needs and communicates deficiencies and / or opportunities to the respective Business Units / Product Groups.
Works closely with the relevant Sales organization to help in the identification and capture of future business.
Identifies and manages potential risks relating to contract agreements and prices across segments.
Electrical Engineer, Electronics (power energy branch) among other careers.
2 to 3 years of experience performing related functions, indispensable commercial not only technical.
Advanced English (essential).
Sales Force (desirable).
