The District Service Manager is responsible for leading a team in an assigned territory to ensure the overall success of the region.

Develop and improve the performance of team and individuals by providing clear expectations, delivering performance feedback and follow up
Build and grow long-term, trusting relationships with a range of contacts at dealerships (buyer / signer, implementer, stakeholder, etc.
including the highest level in each organization (e.g., General Manager) within your team's district.
Motivate and empower team members
Teach the knowledge and skills necessary for success (in both formal and informal settings) in delivering TrueCar service.
Measure employee performance using qualitative and quantitative measures; take appropriate action to achieve results
Provide development opportunities for top performers in order to groom them for future growth and promotion while developing bench strength and depth
Serve as a Change Agent, leading change and acting as a catalyst for continuous improvement
Ensure the district grows sales and billings, meets new business goals, manages accounts receivables, and maintains and preserves dealers.
Interpret, train and deliver new rates on a monthly, quarterly or Bi-Annual basis to assigned district and dealer customers.
Ensure that your team is knowledgeable and proficient in delivering fees and rates with in your assigned district.
Demonstrate a high level of attentiveness towards customer and create a culture which encourages high quality service
Partner with Senior Leadership and Human Resources to understand the need to and execute recruitment, quality of hire, the development of employees and the retention of a diverse, quality workforce
Conduct dealer events to build relationships and grow retention rates.
Maintain involvement with business and professional organizations in order to build professional relationships and industry knowledge
Effectively communicate at all levels within the organization with the ability to influence and persuade effectively
Display courage in addressing difficult situations, aligning behavior with the organization's position, needs and goals
Develop trusting relationships and open communication, accepting feedback (up and down)
Demonstrate the flexibility necessary to adjust to changing and / or additional duties and responsibilities as the market and company changes
High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor Degree preferred
5 + years' in sales or equivalent experience required; advertising sales or training management experience preferred
3 + years' of sales account management or like experience required; online or automotive experience strongly preferred
1 + years' of people management, coaching or training in a sales environment required
Proven leadership experience required
Experience managing, meeting and exceeding goals and objectives
Demonstrated proficiency with communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) required
Willing and able to travel as needed and required (up to 75% day and overnight trips)
