What the role is
The Channel Execution Team, is part of the Revenue Management Area. We work both with Pre-Opening and Open locations, in different ways.
Our main task is to open and connect properties profiles in different online selling channels, according to previously made negotiations that can be for a specific country, region or even global negotiations.
All this new platforms need to be compatible with our Channel Managers.
The team works closely with our Revenue Management coworkers, Reservations Team and different sales teams, while helping the Global, Country and Location teams with the online sales platform we connect.
With online sales being the bread and butter for the hospitality industry nowadays, the Channel Execution Team plays a key role in the company's success.
What you will be doing
For the Pre Opening Properties, we :
Create the hotel in our PMS
Open the online travel agencies profiles in order to start selling before the property opens
Update the room inventory in our PMS as the Pre-Opening timeline gets closer to the Opening Date
Help the Global, Country and Location teams access the online platforms
For the Open properties, we :
Connect the properties on new online channels signed by New Sales (sales department).
Add or eliminate categories when inventory changes take place on site after the opening
Connect new rate plans / products in order for the selling product to be better and more appealing for the customers
Review and support the CRO team with any kind of special cases with reservations from the different connected platforms
Keep track of online channels you’ll be in charge of, with the latest updates
What you need for the role
Excellent English and Spanish (both written and spoken) is a must
Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
Experience with Online Sales Channels is a plus
